You are invited to a Nominet members’ conference on 20th June at Bletchley Park.

AI members’ conference

-
Start: 10:00am 20th June 2024 - End: 4:30pm 20th June 2024

We hope that you will join us at Bletchley Park for a day immersed in the fast-moving world of artificial intelligence, and how Nominet and our members will benefit.

The programme includes a tour of this historic site, with keynote and panel talks centred on topical AI themes, including the future of work, and the ethics of AI – focusing on privacy and human rights, and a session with representatives from Nominet’s leadership team on how the registry will benefit from adopting AI.

We’re welcoming some fantastic guest speakers including:

  • Dr Sue Black OBE: Professor of Computer Science at Durham University, Technology Evangelist and author of ‘Saving Bletchley Park’.
  • Dr Eleanor Drage: Senior Research Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, Speaker, AI Ethics expert and The Good Robot podcast co-host.
  • Raman Rai: Multi-award-winning AI Product Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, UN Women UK Delegate, TechWomen100 2022 and photographer.
  • Dr Gemma Newlands: Departmental Research Lecturer in AI & Work, Oxford Internet Institute.

We’ll also be joined by Nominet team members for an interactive panel to hear a range of perspectives on AI from within the organisation.

This is an in-person event held under Chatham House rules. Guest speaker sessions will be recorded for members to access on the Member Hub at a later date. Members are welcome to bring colleagues and guests to join them for the day.
