It is a truly fascinating time to be working in this space; the internet is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in its history, with the number of devices connected to the internet expected to double by 2020. At the same time the way we use the internet is fundamentally changing, with machines, rather than humans set to both generate and consume more data on the internet in the future, while cyber threats continue to threaten the integrity of the internet and the systems built on it. To enable us to adapt to these changes we have pulled together a highly skilled team with a diverse range of talents, who are researching new technologies that will enable the internet to continue to be a secure, trustworthy and flourishing place.
