Nominations open for non-executive director elections 2014

13th March 2014

We are seeking nominations for member-elected non-executive directors. This is an exciting time for Nominet as we continue to adapt, evolve and strengthen our position in an environment where the pace of change continues to accelerate.  A strong Board is an important factor in our success.

This year, members will vote for two non-executive directors.  The directors elected would serve a three-year term. Members of Nominet may propose individuals to fill these posts. The person standing does not need to be a member of Nominet, but only members can propose, second and vote.

Further information, including a candidate pack with nomination requirements, is now available.

Nominations can be accepted until noon on the 31 March 2014.

Potential candidates are encouraged to have an informal discussion about the role with the Chair, Baroness Fritchie. For more information or to arrange a call, please contact [email protected].

The timetable for the non-executive elections is as follows:

• Nominations open – 13 March 2014
• Closing date for nominations – noon on 31 March 2014
• Voting commences – 25 April 2014
• Voting closes – noon 21 May 2014.

The non-executive directors will be appointed after our Annual General Meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, 21 May 2014.
