As the launch of .cymru and .wales gets closer, further details about Nominet Registrar Services Limited (NRS) are now available.
The company is a wholly-owned Nominet subsidiary which will guarantee a distribution channel for .wales and .cymru as ICANN rules mean that the new domains may only be sold through ICANN Accredited Registrars.
Registrars who wish to offer the Welsh domains but are not ICANN-accredited can choose to offer them by becoming a reseller of NRS or any ICANN Accredited Registrar who has signed up with Nominet to sell these gTLDs.
