This in-person event brings together a selection of Nominet speakers discussing a range of registry matters plus a session from the National Cyber Security Centre on their critical role in keeping the UK safe.

The Product Team will provide an update on the progress made on the discovery and scoping work relating to EPP Standardisation and answer any questions from members.

Elected by the membership, Council’s role is foster the long-term sustainable success of the .UK namespace. Councillors will reflect on the past 19 months since the Council was formed and share their current thinking.

Oli will reflect on his first months at Nominet, sharing his observations on the infrastructure, priorities and activities underway.

NCSC’s work in providing advice, guidance and support to industry on cyber security and the management of cyber security incidents.

15:30 Helping to keep Nominet and .uk safe – Nominet panel
Nominet’s CISO will update delegates on the key principles and activities that help to keep Nominet and the registry safe. A member of the Internet, Engineering and Operations team will provide an overview of the operational aspects of Domain Watch and Domain Health. Presentations will be followed by a panel Q&A.
16:00 Computer Misuse Act 1990 consultation
Nominet’s Legal Counsel will provide an overview of the consultation and seek the views of the membership to help inform Nominet’s response.
